The Nadia Meli Workshop.

When I arrived home last friday, after the workshop – I sat down and couldn’t say a word. To be precise, I didn’t want to hear my voice, that’s why. It was an overwhelming day with lots of “first-timers” for me so I had to be quite and recap everything. And I think I’m still not done : )

Last week was a milestone for me. I held my first workshop. On my own. And 11 people were brave enough to attend! I was blown away by the fact that people would actually come to hear me talk. But you bet I can talk a lot about the things I love ; ) The Workshop is about everything I love, everything I do and how I do it. We went through the things I learned in the past two years, the mistakes I made and how to establish a branding that is truly you.

I hope that somewhere in between all that information and sharing and shooting of that afternoon someone went home inspired to grow. To be brave and to dream big. I certainly was encouraged and motivated by everyone who came out!

Thank you thank you thank you for sharing in this beautiful and new experience with me! A special thank you to Oliver Wagner, who documented the day behind the scenes, you are amazing!

The Team of Helene Gutjahr created a beautiful wedding table for us, that I couldn’t get enough of! I love to work with them!

I was lucky enough to get a talented designer on my side: Karina Buddensiek provided all the papeterie for the day! Including the cute buttons for everyone!

I explain not only the theory, but also show some “real” stuff ; ) I show how I start off at a shoot and how I get the look I want in my pictures. Thank you to Viktor and Lydia for modeling and being so much in looove. You were the perfect fit for this day!

Here we go with some Behind – the – Scenes – Scenes : )

I go to great lengths for the pictures I want. The result is further down.

Yes. That’s exactly why I laugh so much. So others can take horrible pictures of me.

These are the results of the shoot we did around the venue. Our bride was wearing a beautiful dress given to us by KüssdieBraut. They’ve been so gracious to me and I love those girls!

I love Lydia’s elegance. And Natalia Kramer did a great job styling her!

Groupshot! ; ) THANK YOU to each and every single one of you who came, who has a passion for what they’re doing. I’m overwhelmed with thankfulness at the thought of you being there, willing to listen and to take something away for yourself. I just know you guys are gonna do great, in life and in business. Let’s always stay learners-and in love with what we do! Nadia.

Christina - Liebe Nadia!

cristina mas - first of all, CONGRATULATIONS for your AAAAAAMMMMAAAAZING WORK!

I’m sooososososososo jealous of everyone that could experience your workshop, unfortunely i’m from Spain and live in Mallorca so I would not be ablte to make it ;)

I know you might be veeeery busy working and taking all this lovely pictures but since i’m such a passionate about photography and i’m still learning about it I would like to know if I could ask you some questions since I love the touch you give to your pictures.

I’m not a professional, just a lover of photography and since I discovered you, of your work. I can’t remember how exactly I found your website, maybe through Florabellacollection website or blog?

Anyway, i ADORE the colors of your pictures, in facts i’ve been trying to work out how you edit this very nice white and pikish natural colors that make your pictures looks so fresh and natural. (like the one of the “fake” weading for your workshop)

So…if you don’t mind sharing some of your tips I would reaaaaaaallly appreciate it, if I could believe me I would come to your workshops! (I sware!hehe) Are you using any set Actions? Do you have any tutorials online? :P

and last one, I’ve seen in your workshop pictures that you are using a Canon. I do have the Canon 550D with a 50mm-1.4 which i looooove. Which one are you using? is this the one you use for weeding photoshoots?

ok, no more questions for now, i don’t want to bother you ;)

I hope I hear from you soon!

And again, CONGRATS for your work!

your spanish fan,

Cristina
